I am a woodcarver and marionette player who is fascinated by crop circles and their mesmerizing geometry. I wanted to bring their magic into my home and came upon the idea of a crop circle-inspired table. Friends were impressed, so I decided to make table tops for sale.

As a wall decoration the epoxy coating is not necessary, thereby saving you money. For indoor use, you can cover the table top with a sheet of glass or perspex, cut to size. If money is tight, you can paint the crop circle yourself.

If the table leg is really heavy, like the cast iron one in the picture above, it would be sensible to bolt a 12mm plywood sheet directly onto the leg, and screw the table top to the plywood, which I sawed a little smaller than the table top. This will save wear and tear when lifting the table.
